With Wishpond, you have the option to go Do it Yourself (DIY) or Done for You (DFY). You’ll have a range of prices for you depending on the arrangement you are most comfortable with.

For the DIY, prices will start from $49 for the Starting Out per month for a maximum 1,000 leads to $2,989 per month for the Rapid Growth to cover 1 million leads. Perhaps the most popular is the Everything You Need which is for $99 per month covering up to 2,500 leads.

 For the Done-For-You on the other hand, I assume the price tag varies according to your preference. The price could go up depending on the number of your special requests and preferences. What you can do is set up a free demo with Wishpond’s team to figure out what you want.

Is there a money-back guarantee? 

One of the things I probably like about Wishpond  is their refund policy. There are a lot of companies who have such dodgy refund policies or none at all which is a very big bummer in my opinion.

When you sign up for a yearly subscription, you will be charged the full amount the day your trial ends. Now for whatever reason you would like to cancel your account with Wishpond, the agreed upon Terms of Service includes two different arrangements.

First, a full refund for the remaining unused months on the annual plan may be given if a refund has been requested or the account has been cancelled within five days of the trial’s expiration date and the number of generated and hosted leads, participants and voters does not exceed 20. 

Second, a 50% refund and credit towards your account with Wishpond may be given if the annual plan is canceled or a refund has been requested through email within 2 months of initial purchase and the total number of captured and hosted leads, participants and voters does not exceed 50.

With that said, I don’t think that Wishpond is a scam. It looks to me a legit company. However, just like any company, it has its share of pros and cons, and supporters and haters.

Perhaps one of the biggest complaints they have is in not delivering the campaign as promised. However, it seems that they actually respond to these complaints such as this one on BBB,

Wishpond Ugly Truths Revealed!

Forms need improvement. The forms in Wishpond could use some improvements such as adding pre-existing fields.

Campaigns needs improvement. One of the common negative feedbacks Wishpond receives is that you are actually unable to set a campaign to be restricted by geographic location. This means that if you have a contest, or popup, you can’t really target your audience.

What I Like About Wishpond 

Easy to use. Wishpond is simple and easy to use with enough of the features that you need. You can produce landing pages in minutes, run split tests, automate email campaigns, create referral campaigns, etc.

14 Day Trial. Wishpond’s 14 Day Trial also receives some shade as being misleading. You actually need to provide your credit card during this period and claim your refund has a few restrictions. However, the god thing about this is that you have an option to get a portion of your money back when you find that this doesn’t work for you. The 14 day period is the time you spend working with Wishpond and setting up a stable arrangement without getting billed for it.

BBB rating. Although not BBB accredited, Wishpond received a good enough rating of B-. Also, all of the complaints on BBB are actually answered which shows that they indeed want to resolve any issues.

Wishpond Review —My opinion

In the end, after checking out Wishpond I can definitely say it’s not a scam and you could definitely recommend it to you who may be looking for a simpler way to not only increase your sales but also improve the interaction they have with their leads.

It’s actually a good enough platform if you’re looking for something to run contests that provide leads and drive user engagement, but if they also incorporate social media management and scheduling.

However, as I mentioned in an earlier section, lead generation can also be hard to scale. Well, I guess this is the same for any business. In My case, I prefer Affiliate marketing as an ideal business for me. It that’s true, then, it is extremely impressive man!

He initially concentrated on selling business courses and he has now diversified into software programming. After Alex Becker left the Air Force in his early 20s, he launched and scaled Source Wave which really took off. This opened a lot of doors for him and grew his net worth to more than $1 million. All this by age 24. Source Wave was an SEO software company that currently generates annual revenue of roughly $4 million. 

He has created an autoresponder program called Market Hero. Market Hero has proven to be a popular option as it joined the big guns such as GetResponse, Aweber, and Mailchimp. At the bottom, Market Hero claims to be a program designed to help you generate higher profits and expand the outreach of your business.

As far as his products go, Market Hero and H-Com 2020 seem to be the most preferred. However, it has its fair share of good and bad reviews. When you search for reviews on the products Alex Becker offers, you’ll basically find two very different opinions.

We have affiliates who say Becker is the man. They’re usually the ones that get paid —if you buy through their affiliate link. And of course, those with pitchforks calling him a ripoff and scam artist.

According to the website, it might be the first autoresponder and email software that combines in-depth sales tracking to create an email marketing hybrid. MarketHero tries to excel on how it focuses on trying to help you generate more revenue from your leads —claiming to be the “world’s best revenue-centric autoresponder.” That’s a pretty big claim.

Alex Becker believes a lot of online business owners spread themselves too thinly and simply try to do so many things at the same time. Market Hero is a tool which will help you automate some of your businesses processes. Becker believes that automation will allow business owners like you more time to concentrate on bringing in more clients and maximizing profits.

Alex Becker, having said to have a proven track record in the industry, created Market Hero with business owners in mind. Being an autoresponder, Market Hero is a tool that will enable your company to instantly respond to customers and let them know their message was received and is being dealt with.

Market Hero also has a free trial. The trial on the other hand, has a mailing limit of course due to hard costs however this doesn’t mean you can’t use and play with the entire platform.

So when you get on the website pricing, you’ll come across a slider that you can move to view how much your number of subscribers will cost you.

They also have what we call Enterprise. With Market Hero Enterprise you start with 150 thousand email subscribers going up to 500 thousand.

Can You Make Money With Market Hero—Alex Becker

Inside Market Hero, you’ll come face to face with Alex Becker’s own lead and conversion tracking software. What this is supposed to do is increase your eCommerce dropshipping sales.

As we have established earlier as well it also does email marketing for you. So it seems to be a coherent one-stop shop if you want to get into ecommerce. To be clear, I am not saying that this is not essential for you to be successful, infact, you will find some of the features to be quite helpful.

One of the features I am referring to is that it can automatically calculate for you the value of each lead as your eCommerce site starts making its sales. Well, you can figure this out manually by using a simple excel spreadsheet. But let’s be honest, who has the time? Also, it gets a bit hard when you have to keep track of your email marketing sales vs. Facebook ad sales, right? Market Hero does it all for you which can be really quite handy.

What I Don’t Like About Market Hero—Alex Becker

Live —but Recorded? Don’t get too excited because the live streaming which is presented as being 100% live is actually pre-recorded. It shouldn’t really be a big deal, but I guess you shouldn’t advertise something unless you deliver right. Besides, as long as the training delivers value, who cares if it is pre-recorded.

Too cocky. A lot of viewers may be put off by Alex Becker’s persona as he can come across as boastful and overconfident. Becker seems to enjoy showing off his latest luxury car can seem a desperate promotional tactic. I’ve written about other influencers too and I actually dislike that specifically.

What I Like About Market Hero—Alex Becker

Support. Market Hero offers a free live chat with English speaking people to instantly answer questions. This could be really helpful especially when you are in the early stages of using Market Hero. I found the easy access and clear responses to be a major plus for this product.

Training. If the program gets too overwhelming for you, Market Hero offers training to walk you through using it.

Market Hero—Alex Becker (My Opinion)

Is there a Market Hero scam? As I mentioned in an earlier section, I don’t think Alex Becker or his program the Market Hero is a scam.

There might be a question of quality though. Alex Becker tends to keep creating many different programs over the years. Unfortunately, a few of his programs aren’t up to the quality standard that you might expect for the price.

I think there is a lot of good stuff in his programs but at times feels a bit disorganized. One of the main reasons why people think he is a scammer is because he’s quite good at upselling you many of his other programs once you buy any of his courses or join his email list.

Who is Tai Lopez?

So Tai Lopez is said to be focusing on blending education with entertainment. This may be the reason behind the many viewers. Just like other “gurus” and influencers I have encountered, entertainment is what captivates and motivates people to learn much more methodically than old boring education systems.

The thing here is that Tai Lopez mainly makes money online by selling online courses. Because of this, I am made to think about the quality of his qualifications. I wouldn’t question him a bit if he got rich by— let’s say affiliate marketing —and if he is earning seven figures mainly because of that and is just doing the course part as a side gig. If that was the case, his courses would be more of a concoction of the following:

• What were the exact steps he took to get to where he is now;
• Case studies and situations he encountered during his time in the business;
• A few inspirational words here and there; and 
• probably just a teeny tiny bit of showing off his car or mansion —or maybe not even that.

In fact, I actually searched Warren Buffet and Bill Gates for any house tours or car showcase videos like what these influencers do. But I couldn’t find any videos of Buffet or Gates showing off their house or Ferrari. I wish they had thought of making a course and maybe everyone had a real shot.

But anyway, let’s not dismiss mr. Tai Lopez just yet.

So at the beginning, Tai may actually have earned significant sums of money online from running a few dating websites. Sort of like the pop-up you see when you open some website “Leila 24 looking for a date. Chat now!” Unfortunately quite a few of these were accused of baiting customers with fake profiles of attractive matches.

It was in 2014 when Tai Lopez started with selling digital products. This is when he began creating and selling online courses kicking off with his flagship course 67 Steps. Up until now, there is a possibility that his biggest source of income is still his online courses.

Tai Lopez is BIIIIG in showing off his money. This is actually one of the main things he uses to seemingly justify his courses. Subtly, he shows people that if you buy his course, you have a shot at the kind of life that he has. It is actually as one Youtuber referred to as “selling a dream.”

But is this life that Tai Lopez brags about real?

Apparently, the Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and the house may not be his. There are actually already a couple of videos showing how his house in Beverly Hills and one of his Ferraris are leased. Is that better than saying they’re rented?

Does this still mean he’s rich?

By promoting SMMA as a “social media marketing agency”, it allowed the public most importantly the younger people to buy into this program. SMMA program, in substance, actually just teaches you how to use social media and manage your business on it. The fact of the matter is, young lads like me (lol) are already managing to make a brand on social media without needing to buy into the SMMA 2.0 program.

Can You Make Money With the Tai Lopez Program?

Tai Lopez’ programs may actually have lots of good advice. But you’ll only be able to hear it after he talks about a bunch of other things. This actually makes it seem a bit scattered. What it lacks is a general direction and drawing a bigger picture of what he wants to talk about as he tends to segue a bit LOT.

He brings on different experts but some repeat the same information. Quite honestly, some are pretty useless or too common sense. As I mentioned in earlier, you might get as much luck typing in on google search which is free by the way.

Tai lists his impressive stats on social media and how it has been essential to the success he is getting. Definitely, However a lot of that is greatly amplified by his paid campaigns. I mean, we can do that too. We can spend a lot of money on Facebook or Youtube and definitely will get traffic. But do we have the budget— and would the income justify the cost?

Tai claims that social media is one of the finest ways to grow a business because it’s something we can’t get away from everyday. But here are my thoughts on why Social Media for a business is challenging in a few different ways.

• Most people on socmed are there to hang out and be social, not naturally, looking to buy.
• You would have to interrupt people’s scrolling to get them to buy. This is not easy
• Producing youtube content takes time before you build up any following
• Most businesses rely heavily on Google search rankings for new business not social media

Most business owners out there just want new customers that need their service. For example the best way to get in front of a customer who is looking for a pool cleaning service or perhaps even a good coffee maker is to be on page one when they pull up their smartphone and type in “best coffee makers” or “cheap pool cleaning services near me” something like that. Tai Lopez Program Ugly Truths Revealed!

Pricey. I’ve shown you the products right, so this is not really something we have to debate about. The courses and services are quite pricey. But I guess that’s always the thing about paying for entertainment.

Redundant. There are definitely a lot of teachers teaching the course. And that should be good. But instead, the topics are repeated again and again just in a different packaging.

Poorly organized. Even if there would have been a lot of helpful and insightful material in the course, it can’t be denied that it seems to have been thrown together like a good old salad. You are left to resolve and figure all the disorder and contradictions out. Mostly because Tai tends to be a bit scatterbrained in talking about a topic. Take for example this video for SMMA 3.0.

I remember watching this and like “when are you going to start talking about SMMA 3.0?”

Outdated. Some of the videos came from way back 2016. And they haven’t updated it yet until now.

Paid Ads. I mentioned this earlier. Yes, Tai has proof of his high traffic, but how can we be sure this isn’t all because of the amount of Ads he paid for? You might just not have that kind of money.

What I Like About Tai Lopez Program

Entertaining. We can’t deny the charisma of Tai Lopez. Even when he was bragging about that new Lamborghini and slowly saying “KNOW-le-ch” you got to admit he was able to get a reaction from you.

Comprehensive. With more than 100 videos, the course surely covers a lot of topics focusing on digital marketing —oh sorry —social media marketing.

Refund Policy. The SMMA refund policy actually wants you to first watch and complete all Phase 1 videos which is a total of 22 videos before getting a refund. This is actually good since I’ve actually encountered a lot of courses who won’t refund your money if you’ve watched already 25% of the first video, or 2 topics, some don’t offer anything at all.

Tai Lopez Program Review: My opinion

What I noticed with Tai Lopez is how he seems to really try to show his wealth. I don’t know about you but the Lamborghini is a little too much for me.

Tai claims that social media is one of the finest ways to grow a business because it’s something we can’t get away from everyday. I think it does have potential.

But here are a few of my opinions on different ways Social Media for a business can be a challenge.

1. It involved a lot of paid ads which would cost A LOT
2. People rarely go to social media to buy, especially courses
