Everyone wants to work anywhere now right? Imagine sipping a margarita in front of a pool with your laptop.

Aaaah. Bliss.

I guess that’s one of the reasons why “Work Fromanywhere Accelerator” would make you want to click and say “I’m in!” but before you do that, let’s take out our virtual microscope and check this program up from its core.

So what is WFA about? Work Fromanywhere Accelerator claims to be about increasing your income online while building the lifestyle many people can only dream about. At least that’s how it is advertised. The program promises to show you how to use Facebook ads and funnels to offer services to different clients looking for these services. They claim that this is the course for you If you want to learn how to build a business while traveling the world like Christian. 

Who’s Christian? You’ll know in just a bit.

Right off the bat, I already have mixed feelings about the program. I’ve reviewed quite a few of them and most of the time, programs who focus more on “selling a dream” rather than course content usually come up short when delivering the goods. But well, let’s look into it more and maybe you can build a different opinion.

There’s more than 100 videos, excellent support and the funnel clones are amazing if you don’t feel like starting from scratch. Work From Anywhere is sure to set you up to begin getting clients and running your very own online business. Along with the regular features that come with the course, Christian Martin says that WFA includes tons of bonuses to help speed up your process of getting sales funnels set up.

Now one of the things that WFA and Martin claims is that some students who have entered the course have been able to double or even triple their income in a matter of months. Well that’s quite a claim. Is this a get-rich-quick scheme?

Work Fromanywhere Accelerator Background Info

My question about WFA is —what does it really do? How do you “get rich” like Christian Martin?

So Christian Martin compares the concept of WFA to sign spinning.

That sounds tiring though. But —let’s find out more.

They say that online sign spinners grab customers from social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook, and bring them into their clients businesses. If they put it that way, it actually sounds like affiliate marketing too.

Going back, Work Fromanywhere Accelerator is composed of 8 modules. It has more than 100 videos where Martin claims to show his experience, in his own words—the exact blueprint of how he escaped from being stuck in a boring job to working with over 100 clients while traveling through 20 different countries. They say that this course was made so you know exactly what to do for each and every process. WFA is said to give a step-by-step guide to starting your business, getting clients, getting results and scaling including templates, worksheets, scripts and videos to guide you every step of the way.

the 8-week training on the tools funnel cloning workshop including videos, scripts, templates and step-by-step exercises. it is said to be valued at $2,997. You will also have more than 50 pre-made funnel clones which is valued at $997. There is also what they call rescue marketing client attraction system they claim has a $497 value.

I’m not really sure about the “value” they put on the services they provide. Most of the time it is making a promise they can’t deliver rather than a service they give out. Here are more of the value added services they list on the website:

So they are also saying that Work from Anywhere Accelerator is a course that teaches you how to start and grow a digital marketing agency that enables you to work from anywhere.

Support

One encouraging feature I can find with this program Christian Martin created is the coaching and support.

To be clear though, I have not seen anywhere that describes the average response time they have or the depth of support you get from them. Nonetheless, it’s a good thing that aside from the digital courses, you can also get support from Martin and his team —that’s definitely an advantage over similar programs that usually only promise Facebook groups or something of the sort.

But then again, this is only if their support is any good at all.

As Martin himself describes it, his professional evolution started from real estate to making apps. Later on he went into consulting and running a digital marketing agency. This is why he calls himself a digital nomad as he goes from one digital business to another.

I am personally not so confident with him now although he makes it seem like a positive thing. I mean, could he be really a good businessman without a business focus?

So Anyway, he says that Work from Anywhere Accelerator is where he explains his process of how to become a “digital nomad.”

Now, before you dive into any online training it’s a good idea to check out the owner’s background. So who is Christian Martin? Basically, he is an entrepreneur and internet marketer who graduated from the University of Colorado with good grades and an internship. But then, he decided that he couldn’t work for anyone else.

Christian worked for a software company and helped them generate hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue. His business revolves around helping other business owners and entrepreneurs build their businesses effectively through the use of systems where others saw what he was capable of in this area and quickly became an in demand consultant. Christian Martin now runs his online businesses while traveling the world to more than 20 countries and 5 continents. Other than being great at running internet businesses, Christian Martin also is a Certified Yoga Instructor.

Wow, this guy brings a new meaning to “jack of all trades.”

So Christian Martin stayed in his real estate rehab business for 3 years, then decided to switch gears and get into something that gave him even more freedom in his lifestyle, and that’s where he decided on consulting. This decision to consult for a living has given him lots of success and he shares his experience with others looking to choose a similar career as he has in Work from Anywhere Accelerator.

A few of Martin’s achievements include having a top ten finance app in the App Store, being a featured writer on Entrepreneur.com, as well as helping more than 800 paying clients through his courses and consulting.

How Does Work Fromanywhere Accelerator Work?

At its core, the ‘Work From Anywhere Accelerator’ is an online training course that aims to train entrepreneurs how to build an online business and sales funnels. WFA always uses the tagline “so that they can experience newfound freedom in your life” as a major takeaway of the course.

The WFA program is full of scripts, step-by-step instructions, templates and modules that are said to pack all of the tools and resources necessary to begin building an income online. Christian claims to have used these exact strategies to quit his job and be able to work with tons of clients while traveling around the world.

But saying that he is using the same techniques might be something that needs looking into. There were quite a few negative feedbacks of him not “walking the talk.”

You’ll be learning the business model where you’d be offering freelance marketing services such as Facebook ad management, sales funnel creation, and lead generation using Facebook.

Is there a money-back guarantee? 

Well, there actually is, but it sort of has a really complicated arrangement.

You got to “put in the work, complete the homework.” So what happens next? It seems that only after doing everything to the T, if you don’t get at least one paying client, you get 100% of your investment refunded right back to you as well as $100 for trying it out. Really?

Honestly, I don’t have much faith in these kinds of arrangements.

How Much Does Work Fromanywhere Accelerator Cost

It costs $1,497 to join Work From Anywhere Accelerator. Now if you don’t have the cash, they would actually encourage you to sign up for paypal credit. So you can sign up for a pay plan for $597 which is paid 3 times over 3 months. That would make it go up to $1,791.

So it’s important to note that a lot of people are actually throwing this program some shade.

Now the main reason that some people call the Work Fromanywhere Accelerator program a scam, is because the amount of money you spend isn’t just the $1,497 you pay. 

The costs do not stop there…

Can You Make Money With Work Fromanywhere Accelerator?

Work From Anywhere Accelerator is a course that will teach you how Christian Martin has used funnels and Facebook ads to offer clients leads. To put it in simple words it helps you to sell your digital marketing skills to other businesses. 

Many businesses pay good money for someone to send them qualified and targeted leads. But does Christian Martin’s training actually still work? Would anyone really be able to progress from this?

Now, I did mention earlier that the one time fee of $1,497 isn’t the last number in this particular business venture. You should set your expectations that, there are some ongoing costs that you will need to allow for to make this type of business work. Of course the amount of money you earn from clients should eventually be able to cover this cost. However, when you go blind and are not even aware of this when you join, your unpreparedness could be your biggest problem.

Setting Expectations

One of the main issues that comes up with WFA is that it fails to set the right expectations for the people who enrolled. One of the issues is that you will need to test out ads and funnels to see what actually does convert. If you think Christian’s ready made funnels (funnels you bought) can bring in some money right off the bat, think again. These funnels would often need tweaking or fine tuning to fit your clients needs so it’s not a simple plugging and play product. It may actually be a few months before you land a client or make a profitable sales funnel.

If this is the case, how long can you afford to not make money?

How to Make Money with Work Fromanywhere Accelerator?

Over the last few years Martin built multiple online businesses using email marketing and sales funnels.

You can easily clone funnels as easily as you can delete them. A sales funnel is the pathway that captures sales prospects and moves them from awareness of your product to interest, desire and ultimately the sale — this is the idea behind Work Fromanywhere Accelerator. So to create a sales funnel to drive sales for your business, you have to figure out how to identify prospects, qualify them, and then lead them to the sale.

Is Work Fromanywhere Accelerator A Scam?

Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not an affiliate of Work Fromanywhere Accelerator myself and I do not endorse any of Work Fromanywhere Accelerator in any way.

I have researched the website, testimonials, and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what the Work Fromanywhere Accelerator genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. Now that we have that cleared out, It’s time to really look into WFA and figure out if there’s anything fishy about it. I know you are probably thinking $1,497 is not too bad right? But then your expenses do not stop there. I listed the estimated amount of what you are expected to spend in a section above. Now unfortunately, this wasn’t clearly explained to people who signed up. As I wrote earlier, the additional monthly expenses is no joke. What you need to allow for in this business model is probably at least $350 a month.

You and anyone else who would sign up should be made aware of the expected startup costs upfront and not made to think that it’s the solution to getting rich.

In this note, I guess it’s also important to mention that Christian Martin has made $1 million from recommending ClickFunnels. Does thing ring any bell to you?

Is it a scam though? I can’t really call it that. What I’d like to recommend though is to run in the opposite direction.

What I don’t like Work Fromanywhere Accelerator

Hidden monthly expenses. They don’t clearly mention the added costs for tools, equipment, or ads to build the business.

So when you really go about calculating the startup costs you’ll find that you will probably have to create a Clickfunnels account which is $97 per month, have an ad budget of more than $200per month, some money aside for marketing tools and materials, probably some office supplies, and others. This business startup could total more than the $1,497 cost of the Work Fromanywhere Accelerator which can go up to more than $3000. All this before expecting a return. 

Misleading sales pages. You don’t actually get a sample of the coursework before buying WFA.

This is important for you to make an informed decision if Martin’s teaching style would work well for you. After some serious digging, it turns out that you’re not just setting up sales funnels and Facebook ads as you might think. You actually need to cold call people, meet with them face to face and put yourself out there to find clients. These clients don’t magically appear on your lap and you need to have some decent social skills and business nous to do this.

Lacking training. They give you the funnel clones, but you may not learn the copywriting formulas and psychology that would help you to build funnels on your own.

You’re not told beforehand that you’ll be required to market by posting on social media, and you’re not given a clear marketing plan at all. The WFA sales page and videos mainly talk about lifestyle freedom and working from anywhere. There is barely any talk about what you actually have to do. I personally see this as a huge red flag in any training program online. I’ve seen this before in the likes of Tai Lopez, Anik, Singal, Dan Lok and John Crestani. All these guys spend more time showing their cars, suits, and vacation houses rather than the actual path to get rich.

Poor refund policy. If you decide to trust Martin and you’re not satisfied with the program, there’s steep requirements to get your money back.

So many people complain about how HARD it is to get a refund from WFA. It is as if  when you click that button to pay, is the last you’ll ever see your money, so be sure this is fit for you before you do it. Despite all the missing information, you’ll still be penalized by not getting your refund if you don’t implement everything he has mentioned in the training. I mean, the ethics behind this are quite questionable. Does this mean you would have already spent money on all those tools before you get your $1497? I would not recommend Work from Anywhere Accelerator because of this.

What I Like About Work Fromanywhere Accelerator

Legit founder. He’s a real person.

Believe me, there are actually a lot of courses out there with founders who hide behind some code name. Or is practically a guy whose face you won’t see online.

Legit methods taught. The concepts taught in WFA are actually legitimate and not shady at all.

This is actually significant as I have come across some courses which would actually teach you to “get under the radar” or to “get away with things.” If you are looking to make money online by offering services to clients then Work Fromanywhere Accelerator may work for you. You will learn about Facebook ads and use sales funnels to generate leads. When these strategies make your clients more money, in turn this will also make you more money as well.

They offer lots of content. The course includes some 100+ videos and is conducted in a span of 6 weeks.

At Least I could say that this course has been really thought out. I’m not sure about the mindset part though, but it didn’t really take half of the course content so it doesn’t seem like a big deal to me.

They offer support. Christian Martin created WFA with coaching and support in mind.

Unlike other programs which only brags about a Facebook group as support (well one ignorant man can’t really educate another), WFA seem to really have coaches and support in place to help you do things right. However, I can’t help but think it could be a way to sell them products, especially Clickfunnels.

My opinion —Work Fromanywhere Accelerator Program

If you have a small business, the concepts taught in WFA may work nicely for you. However, I’m not a fan of how he is recommending for you to get into debt. He actually suggests and even teaches you how to apply for paypal credit to buy his course. Remember, you have no way to try the course out for free. And the refund is also another sticky situation. 

I also mentioned the fact that he seems to be involved in a ton of different online businesses which to me is a sign of someone who just jumps from one business to another and abandons it for something shiny or new.

There are actually other ways to make money “anywhere” and at the comfort of your own home without cold calling people and still relying on clients to pay you. I found a good product that teaches long-term proven strategies to build an online business with the tools and support needed. I’ll tell you about it in the end of this post.

How I Make a Passive Income Online

Work Fromanywhere Accelerator requires a lot of financial risk (the paypal credit and unexpected costs along the way) without sufficient information given to you upfront to make an informed buying decision.

Potential customers such as yourself will not be told how much the startup costs are, what you would need to do to find and acquire clients, how much time is needed, and the depth of customer support. You are not even given a sample, so you can’t really see whether or not you like how the course is taught.

Instead of giving startup details, which are much more substantial in my opinion the beginning of the webinar is more of Christian Martin’s show and tell. They would show pictures of Martin’s travel and talk about his satisfaction with life overall which is an absolute waste of time in my opinion.

You’re not told what skills you’ll be acquiring or the value of the skills, instead you are sold a dream that is very unrealistic unless you have a shot at understanding the important concepts of the business model.

As I mentioned, I highly recommended Affiliate Marketing as my top business model before all else for anyone to make money online.

They also say that their courses are well known for the high level of knowledge and expertise provided by their lecturers. And we would of course hope that is true. So how are classes conducted? All classes are filmed to create a fluid learning environment both online and offline. This is because you can download recordings you can listen to anywhere.

Shaw Academy gives certified online courses that are internationally recognized.

This is attributed to their courses conforming to the required standards and their learning materials being thoroughly looked into to ensure expected criterions are met. According to Shaw Academy, their courses have empowered individuals all over the world, to take control of their future. 

Shaw Academy mentions that they understand that their students lead busy lives and need a flexible study environment for it to work. For this purpose, Shaw Academy classes are not live but are instead scheduled every hour, so students can pick class times that suit them or reschedule if life gets in the way.

Personally though, I’m not sure why there is still a scheduling part. Can’t you just click on a video/course whenever you want? I saw one review that remarked on this. If it was a live class scheduling would be understandable but why schedule a recorded class?

I have researched the website, testimonials, and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what Shaw Academy genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. This is a detailed review from Quora from someone who would have otherwise been a satisfied customer:

“Totally awful experience! Avoid it asap because its totally scam and theft.I started with free trial for 4 weeks and the course material n the teacher was really good, so I enjoyed the course. The only annoying experience is at the end of every lesson they advertised their premium packages and persuaded people to buy them. They also added that if we buy they will add 13 extra days to my membership so it will totally cover my course duration (it started later in the next month n the course duration was 3 months). Ok I have had overall good learning experience with the fundamental course so decided to upgrade to 3-month premium to pursue the advanced course. I bought 3 month membership on 17th July, so my premium package should be expired on 30th October, which will surely cover my course from 1st August to 30th October (3 months).The advanced course content is somehow lacking, they just tried to split the content during 3 months but its content wasn’t much and really helpful as I expected as they call them “advanced”. But my overall experience with the course was still somewhat good and i didn’t really think of any thing to complain. However the disgusting thing they had done recently is they charged me another 3 month membership (of course without telling you anything) on 17th October, when my membership was still valid (until 30th October). I emailed to ask why they charged my money while i was still having valid membership and asked them to refund my money. They answered me after 2 days that the extra days will be added only when u end ur membership. It means I have to terminate my membership first before I can get any extra days as they promised me (which they had never mentioned that before). The funny thing is they allow themselves to bend the trust in their favour n make to confused as much as they can to STEAL MONEY from YOU. I replied their email to ask for the proof of their “newly created policy” because I couldn’t find that in their policy and they never had explained about the rule of adding extra days to the premium membership nor made it clear to their customer.Another point to add is in their policy they says they will automatically renew ur membership month-by-month if you dont cancel it, but they charged me 3 months at a time !! Its totally contracting to what they say! What the hell it is, they are just GREEDY and STEALING your money. No expiration date displayed on ur member area nor reminder that ur membership will be due soon. They make everything to make sure that you will forget about ur due date so then on that date they will steal money from you. I mentioned their policy n asked them to refund my money, and they just disappeared, no replies anymore. It is so funny. The company would never grow their business if they keep treating their customer in this way. AWFUL THEFT.“

To be fair, I looked for positive reviews about Shaw Academy to find out redeeming factors of this program. But I did make sure that it doesn’t seem scripted and includes some concrete examples.

“An honest review of my experience with Shaw AcademyMy honest experience with Shaw academy started optimistically, the courses seemed like they would be useful and interesting. However, after a couple of weeks of attempting to do the courses during my free trial, I was, unfortunately, unable to complete any of the classes due to my own time constraints. This led me to the conclusion that it would be best that I cancel my subscription and wait until I had more free time and would be able to make use of more paid content. This is where my experience went way, way downhill. After attempting to cancel my subscription a week before my free trial was up (and believing that I had succeeded), I heard nothing until 5 weeks later when I noticed a charge on my credit card from Shaw Academy. I’m willing to admit that I must’ve made a mistake trying to cancel my subscription/account, tho I’m also certain that the confusing nature of the subscription and the cancellation process played a large factor. Shaw Academy Ugly Truths Revealed!

Serious billing related offenses. The number of billing related complaints are actually quite alarming. Alarming enough to make us put our credit card away in the middle of sing up.

Convoluted cancelation process. So one review actually explained how the cancelation process was done successfully. It actually involved getting to multiple pages that asks you the nth time if you are sure to cancel, and ends with an ACTUAL CALL to a person who —surprise —talk to you again for a good period of your time to ASK YOU AGAIN if you want to cancel.

What I Like About Shaw Academy

Diverse. It offers quite a lot of courses and lessons in different fields. In our case since we are in the make money online niche we can benefit from three categories.

The availability of diplomas. I know it isn’t common to get certificates in learning platforms like these. But only a few of them are recognized overseas. Back then an online class certification doesn’t give employers any confidence, but after the pandemic, online learning platforms are given much more respect.

Shaw Academy Scam: Final Thoughts

In the end, after writing this Shaw Academy review I ended up pretty skeptical and would have almost declared Shaw Academy a scam.

It’s actually a good enough learning platform and honestly most of the haters come from those who wanted to get free lessons and cancel after. Hey! I’m not judging, since they promised for it to be free they got to be clear and genuine about it and not let people jump through hoops of gimmicky pages.

The main reason I am not recommending this is the obvious tsunami of complaints. The next one is having to pay for lessons separately instead of a monthly all access. Then, you would learn a lot of stuff in different courses. I’m also not sure if they are offering free lessons like if you go to skillshare or something. In our case for example, the lessons helpful to us belong to different categories and this could mean separate charges.

Personally, I prefer Affiliate marketing as an ideal business for me and this is where I’d like to build an expertise. Luckily, I found the right program for me to learn my niche. I think I can categorize Chen as one of the gurus I have been writing about. I noticed that these gurus make it a point to include some mind setting and “inspirational stuff” in their courses. Anyway, the Core Training includes topics such as common problems in affiliate marketing strategies, how to begin affiliate marketing without any products or without your own list, how to efficiently acquire traffic, etc.

The topics you’ll find in Invincible Marketer include The 6 Figure Affiliate Blueprint with a $997 value.

Mass Communication Secrets with a $997 value, Value Series Profits with a $997 value, Authority Hub Mastery with a $997 value, “Stay In The Game” Mastery with a $997 value, and Support and Community with a $997 value.

Aside from that, it includes special bonuses such as Unlimited Traffic Masterclass with a $997 value, Product Profit Secrets with a $497 value, and Tribe Building Secrets with a $497 value.

What I’ve observed in the few courses I’ve reviewed so far is that they like to put an estimated “value” of their products. In the end they’ll tell you that it is all for a whopping 5-6 grand but they’ll give it to you for less than 50 bucks. I guess it’s more of a strategy to make you think that you are getting a good deal out of it.

On the other hand, Essential Mindset, the other part of Invincible Marketer, includes topics such as overcoming failure mindset, how to stop quitting on the things you start, how to become accountable, and how to remain dedicated. Mindset topics are good, but maybe it doesn’t have to be mixed in this particular course since most of us would be looking into courses to learn about the business side of things.

I don’t really like too much mindset stuff myself and I don’t see the need for a course to dwell on this too much.

Some of the topics around mindset include overcoming failures, how to become accountable, remain dedicated, and how to stop quitting on projects that you start. If you are interested in subjects like these, you have to know that they apply to just about anything. It’s actually not specific to affiliate marketing! I mean he can’t package this mindset part of the course as having a $1,997 value when there are a lot of influencers out there who do this really well and put up their videos on YouTube and Facebook for free.

The Bonus Content is said to only be available for a limited time. With this you get access to the unlimited traffic masterclass. The “limited time offers” I find in most courses I review are usually in a perpetual state of limited offering. Just as limited discounts stay discounted for months on end. So I’m not that thrilled with this one.

Now the Invincible Marketer course is not a short one. Although some videos vary in duration ranging starting from just a couple of minutes the opening lesson in the first section for example is 35 minutes long. You might find this a little overwhelming, but it does seem to be in-depth and it may be a redeeming factor to justify the ongoing monthly cost.

So how do the lessons flow? The usual order of the lessons begin with a mindset lesson. The mindset content is always provided at the start of every session which from there you go on with the actionable content which helps you to build the business. This happens from both in-front of a whiteboard and live recordings of Aaron Chen’s PC.

Core sessions have 17 sessions, with 5-6 lessons in each session with at least 2-5 hours of step by step video instructions within each session.

This could mean that there is a lot of content and information to be acquired throughout the Course. This could be a good thing, in my opinion since it would leave no stone left unturned.

The first two sessions of the course will start off with an overview of the course. You will be introduced to what tools you would need and mindset training I have mentioned earlier with one lesson on mindset training throughout each Invincible Marketer Course session.

Session 4-12 is where Aaron begins to take you through his systematic process for generating six figures. Chen will be showing you a step by step on how to set up and use all the tools that you need for your online business. You will be walked through how these tools connect to build an audience and provide value.

When you sign up for Invincible Marketer, you will also have a scheduled Coaching Call. Perhaps, every month near the end of the month, Aaron holds a coaching call with lifetime members of the Course.

This is also where you can get your Affiliate campaign personally reviewed by Aaron Chen. He will then help you out on how you can improve your campaign as well as get all your questions answered personally by him as well. The calls will last as long as needed I guess but usually lasts between one and two hours.

So what are my thoughts on this course? For a course that claims to offer so much, you have to consider the fact that it’s not really any different to the others out there. I’m not really sure why the price tag on a lot of these courses are set so high up. With the Essential Mindset part of the course, I would say scrap it since at some point, you should be able to establish the proper mindset to succeed with business without anyone telling you how to do just that. Look, Aaron Chen is no Bill Gates or Warren Buffet, so why listen to an Aaron Chen? He is basically just another one of those guys selling a course. What I can see is that these mindset videos are simply to bulk out the course content and I don’t really think it’s worth the value of almost two thousand dollars.

It can be expensive to follow Aaron’s footsteps. To replicate Aaron’s Funnel pages, emails, you do have to use the same tools as him. However, some of the tools that Aaron uses are more expensive than others, and some might not be able to afford his preferred tools. But if you really want to follow his technique, you can get by with using less expensive tools.

Videos are engaging. It seems that Aaron has put a lot of work into his funnel to get you to join his course. He is a classic example of “walk your talk.” Aaron’s video lessons are very good with a high degree of professionalism and shows that he’s got some great skills with editing.

Sessions are in-depth. One of the common reviews I come across with Invincible Marketer is that it is pretty in-depth and properly filmed. It gives you the impression that the invincible marketer course has clearly been well thought out and well put together.
