What Is Web Perspectives? If you’re looking for ways to earn money online, then you’ve probably heard about survey sites and one of them is Web Perspectives — but is it worth it?
With so many survey sites today, it’s hard to decide which one’s the best and most worthy of our valuable time.
Some may want to spend time on multiple survey sites and are looking into other sites – such as Web Perspectives.
But before we dive in and spend even just a small amount of time and energy for this site, we have to take the time to find out whether we should even bother or not.
I applaud YOU for taking the time to look into this Web Perspectives review and today, I’ll share with you everything you need to know about Web Perspectives.
So, what is Web Perspectives? Is Web Perspectives A Scam? Here’s an honest, in depth Web Perspectives review.
What Is Web Perspectives? All You Need To Know About Web Perspectives
During my free time, I was wondering if there were any interesting survey sites out there that I could try.
I already had an established way of making money online – but when we’re bored, we do things at random and sometimes wish it was “productive”.
So why not take surveys?
That’s when I stumbled upon Web Perspectives. Its name is not as big as other survey sites out there, thus, I wanted to know more.
I enjoy discovering new things and perhaps, Web Perspectives may give me a new perspective for survey sites.
To answer the curious people’s questions, “What Is Web Perspectives? Is Web Perspectives A Scam? Is Web Perspectives Worth It?”
I decided to write an honest Web Perspectives Review that you can rely on.
What Is Web Perspectives?
Web Perspectives is a Canadian based survey site. Their goal is to collect consumer data and submit it to their partner companies.
Since survey sites can both be reliable and unreliable, I decided to look into this specific site to find out the answers for myself.
Is Web Perspectives Worth It?
Customer insight obtained from survey sites can influence the fluctuating market – but why choose Web Perspectives? Is Web Perspectives worth it?
Here’s a quick summary of what is Web Perspectives.
Product Name: Web Perspectives
Founders: Owned by Parent Company Dynata
Rating: 40 out of 100
Best For: Anyone who wants to earn small cash.
Recommended: Not Recommended
Conclusion: Web Perspectives is a good place to earn small cash during your spare time, but it can be unreliable. There are plenty of other ways to earn money online that can be worth your valuable time.
What Is Web Perspectives About?
Web Perspectives is a survey site that pays you for answering their surveys. The surveys revolve around product research and obtaining customer insights.
This is why you get paid for your opinion – they want your thoughts on certain topics to share it with their partnered brands.
Web Perspectives promises to be a friendly community for their users. Part of their campaign claims to give you $10 per survey.
$10 is a lot for answering surveys – so how much of these are true?
How Does Web Perspectives Work?
Web Perspectives work in simple ways. They will give you surveys that match your profile and reward you for it. As soon as you sign up, you must complete a profile survey to get your results.
The points you earn with Web Perspectives can be exchanged to cash or gift cards from your preferred brands.
With that said, the amount of points you earn may vary depending on the survey you take.
Some surveys may take you 20 minutes and only give you 10-15 points, while some 5 minute surveys may give you 20-30 points.
There are some lengthy surveys that demand patience but will reward you fair enough, while there are some short ones that will only reward you a little.
You can’t have it consistent, but you’ll always know how much you’ll gain before you take every survey.
The site claims that you can earn up to 500 points per survey and at best, you need a minimum of 1,100 points to avail a $10 cash card or gift card.
Web Perspectives also gives back to people by donating to charity. Your 1,000 points can be converted to a $10 donation to UNICEF Charity Foundation.
NOTE: Depending on your country, you may or may not be able to access Web Perspectives.
Founders of Web Perspectives
To know more about this site, I wanted to look into the founders – but to my dismay, I only found out that Web Perspectives is the same as Valued Opinions.
Valued Opinions is another survey site that is more widely known due to its availability – and Web Perspectives is simply the Canadian-focused version.
So what is Web Perspectives? With the same companies, it is exactly the same as Valued Opinions.
However, since it is managed by different operation leaders, then we could expect something new or different with Web Perspectives.
Web Perspectives Policies and Procedures
Much like most Survey Sites out there, Web Perspectives follows a tight policy when it comes to data security and privacy policies.
If you are a Californian resident, you may opt out of the agreement that allows them to sell your personal data with their partnered brands.
Survey Quality Check
One rule you must be aware of is that you MUST be consistent with your answers in order to keep qualifying for surveys.
Your answers will undergo a quality check – and if your answers are inconsistent, you may become disqualified or worse, banned.
It could be a temporary ban or a permanent ban – either way, it doesn’t sound good. So, be honest when answering the surveys.
Can You Make Money With Web Perspectives?
The next thing you’d wonder about after asking “What Is Web Perspectives?” is: Can You Make Money With Web Perspectives?
YES, you can.
Web Perspectives will definitely pay you by rewarding you with points for each survey you take.
Once again, the points may vary and you need a minimum of 1,100 points to redeem a $10 cash card or a gift card.
But to be frank, you cannot rely on it to give you a huge amount of money. You may spend hours grinding on surveys – but you will eventually run out of surveys.
You can’t expect for there to be surveys at all times. There may be surveys, but you won’t always qualify for all of it.
How To Make Money With Web Perspectives?
It’s certain that you can make money with Web Perspectives – but how? Aside from answering surveys, are there other methods?
Is Web Perspectives Worth It?
There are two main ways to make money with Web Perspectives. The first one is – you guessed it, answering surveys.
That is what the site is all about – product research and gathering data for their partnered brands to analyze.
Badges
You can qualify for more surveys and earn more points the more active you become.
Web Perspectives reward your activity with “badges” but as of the moment, there are no other benefits to earning badges other than qualifying for more surveys.
The other method is through participating in focus groups or study diaries.
However, this second method does not come often and is not available for everyone.
You may receive an invitation to participate if you fall under the categories that deems you suitable for that specific study or research.
This study may require more time and effort compared to simply answering surveys and you need to actively participate in sharing your thoughts or opinions.
This might be good for those who want to be influential or have a communicative activity other than just answering surveys.
It pays and rewards you more for your contributions, but once again, this offer does not always come around.
Become an Affiliate
Another way you CAN make money with Web Perspectives is by becoming their affiliate.
Web Perspectives will pay you if you get more people to register at their site – sounds easy, doesn’t it?
Well, if you’re going to invest your time becoming an affiliate, you may be interested in another way to make money online – and that is something I will talk about at the later part of this Web Perspectives review.
By becoming a Web Perspectives affiliate, you can earn more than just answering surveys, but this type of work demands extra time and effort.
You need to promote Web Perspectives and get people to become an active user on their site.
But what you need to consider are the following.
1.) Is Web Perspectives Worth It? Is the payment amount enough to reward your time and effort?
2.) Is it guaranteed to make you earn something equal the amount of time you spent promoting this site, or answering surveys on this site?
Being an affiliate marketer is a real way to earn money – but the products you are promoting matters too.
If you are interested in becoming one, you can simply go to Web Perspective’s “affiliate page” or you can click on the blue text to follow the link.
How Much Money Can You Make With Web Perspectives?
Next, let me tell you how much you can potentially earn with Web Perspectives. Within a day, you can expect to receive one to three surveys.
Each survey you take will tell you how much points you can potentially earn.
At best, you can make up to 500-600 points per day, or per week if you run out of articles to do that time.
If you’re active and lucky, then you may hit 1,100 points and get a $10 gift card a day. That is, only if you are lucky.
That is not the usual case with survey sites.
Your best expectation is to earn $10-$20 per week. Here are the list of redeemable rewards you can select from. You will need a minimum of 1,000 points to get something.
Some rewards may be out of stock, but you can simply wait until they’re back in stock.
Web Perspectives Online Reviews
In this Web Perspectives Review, you can tell my honest opinion about this site. While it is good, I must say it is not the best.
However, my opinion isn’t only based on my own judgments. I looked up other people’s comments about Web Perspectives too.
And looking at it from their experience or perspectives, you may come up with a different conclusion for Web Perspectives as well.
So, let’s take a look at some positive and negative reviews to answer our questions: What Is Web Perspectives? Is Web Perspectives A Scam? Is Web Perspectives Worth It?
Web Perspectives Positive Reviews
According to the recent reviews, Web Perspectives is doing well. The users are happy and satisfied with the simple setup. Answer surveys, earn points, redeem rewards.
User Nathalie even claims that it is “fun” to win cards – implying that some users have fun answering Web Perspective Surveys.
Kristen addresses the good customer service, in contrary to the 2020 reviews that mentioned “no one helps” at all.
This shows that they are constantly trying their best to improve their site for a better user experience.
Web Perspectives Negative Reviews
Now, let’s take a look at some negative reviews that are recently made by two users. Take a look at Chen’s dilemma – this sounds awful.
If you’re looking for ways to earn extra income and you can barely receive any surveys at all, then is it even worth it?
While this may not be the case for all, there is STILL no guarantee that you will constantly receive surveys.
This is something that most survey sites will also set your expectations of. They will tell you that they cannot guarantee to offer you surveys at all times.
According to Stephanie and a few other reports, there are a lot of issues on lost accounts and being unable to retrieve them.
With Stephanie’s case, it seems that the account was suspended due to various factors and the support refuses to offer further help.
The only reason this could happen is it’s either the site is scamming you, or your account was not being consistent with your answers.
Clearly, Web Perspectives is not a scam – so could it be a fault in inconsistency?
Is Web Perspectives A Scam?
After taking a look at those other user’s reviews, do you still wonder: Is Web Perspectives A Scam?
The clear answer is NO. Web Perspectives is NOT a scam and it is a legitimate site that you can make money from.
But the real question is, is Web Perspectives Worth It? Find out why by reading the things I liked (and disliked) about Web Perspectives below.
Well, to be completely transparent with you. I am not an active Web Perspectives user nor am I one of their affiliates or brand partners. Furthermore, I do not endorse Web Perspectives or any of their partnered brands in any way.
I have spent a good amount of time researching the website, reading testimonials, and studying information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what Web Perspectives really does. This is because sites just like this have burned me in the past, and I want to keep others from going down the same path I did. You can learn more here in this article “How to Spot an Online Marketing Scam and Avoid Scams”.
Reasons Why Web Perspectives Is Good (Advantages)
Survey sites have their own charms and it’s why some people still use them. They also play an important role in contributing to what influences today’s market.
While I would NOT fully dedicate myself to a survey site, I will be fair and honest to tell you the few things I liked about Web Perspectives.
Simple Points System
Earning points is simple. Unlike other survey sites, you have so many methods to choose from, it can be confusing.
Organized Surveys
The surveys are neatly organized, it isn’t all over the place unlike outdated survey sites. Makes you feel nice for answering them, like doing a simple homework.
User Friendly Interface
The website is updated to today’s standards. Organized, neat, and easy to use for all types of users. Simple navigation and helpful FAQ pages.
Quick Loading Pages
The surveys load fast and clicking on other areas of the application or website takes a second to load, sometimes, almost instant.
If you’re wondering why sites still load slow sometimes despite your latest device or fast internet connection, then the problem is not you – it’s most likely the site you are on.
Web Perspectives loads fast enough to not keep you waiting.
Good Customer Service
It seems that Web Perspectives is actively responding to recent customer complaints and resolves issues as soon as possible.
Contrary to reviews from last year, it seems that they’ve stepped up their customer service level!
Reasons To Avoid Web Perspectives (Disadvantages)
And now, here are the reasons why I would not invest my time on Web Perspectives.
Repetitive Surveys
Similar to most survey sites out there – you’ll find the questions repetitive and this can drive you crazy with boredom!
Sure you can answer quickly without reading much into it, but that could result in a disqualification or a suspension. Remember, consistency is needed.
One good thing though, is that they don’t ask TOO MUCH personal information unlike other survey sites. They may ask personal info, but nothing too detailed.
Vague Point Rewards
Whenever you answer a survey, it tells you the estimated time it could take AND the estimated amount of points you can earn. (E.g “Earn up to 150 Points!)
This is vague and could lead to disappointments. Imagine doing a 20 minute survey and only earn 20 points for that – when you need over a thousand to get cash.
I prefer sites that sets your expectations directly and clearly, tells you EXACTLY how much you’ll get so you won’t be guessing or hoping you earn 150 when the result is completely random.
Limited Reward Options
The points system is simple, but this also results in a limited reward options. You’ve seen the list of redeemable rewards, and let’s be honest, we don’t always use all of those brands.
Unreliable Waiting Period
There is no guarantee that you’ll get surveys everyday – therefore, it has an unreliable waiting period.
How long would you wait? What if you end up 4 months without surveys, just like that one negative review we saw?
Technical Errors, Account Issues
There are also multiple complaints about technical issues that mainly revolved the account.
Some people are unable to redeem their rewards, some do not receive their points right away, and some are unable to access their accounts due to various reasons.
This could leave users feeling insecure about their accounts.
Final Thoughts On Web Perspectives
So, what is Web Perspectives? Is it worth it, is it a scam? In this Web Perspectives Review, we’ve covered everything you need to know.
Now, let me share with you, my final thoughts for this survey site.
Web Perspectives is a good place to earn small cash during your spare time, but it can be unreliable. There are plenty of other ways to earn money online that can be worth your valuable time.
A Better Alternative To Make Money From Home!
Instead of spending hours answering surveys that could only be worth only a small amount each month, spend your time more efficiently by learning how to start your own online business.
How? Through Affiliate Marketing!
One of my favorite ways to make money online or from home is through affiliate marketing. What is affiliate marketing? Trust me, it’s way better than answering surveys. So, why affiliate marketing?
- You are free to promote anything you want – you can have your own business
- You don’t need any inventory of products to sell, you simply promote other people products
- All you need is your computer with internet connection – so you have freedom to work from home or work from anywhere
- Your efforts are cumulative – as you put in consistent effort your traffic and income grows and you can continue to earn. Unlike survey sites where you only ever earn pocket change
- Your earning potential is unlimited, many people make full-time incomes and you can also outsource and scale your online business
- Even complete beginners can do it with the right training – here’s what I recommend and I can personally mentor you to help you earn.
My advice is to invest your precious time into building your own real online business to give you income you can rely on longer term, rather than trying to earn pocket change by playing with mobile apps in your spare time.
In the end, you’ll learn valuable skills and earn more than the time you’d spend on survey sites!
