What Is Commission Hero? Is Commission Hero A Scam?
What Is Commission Hero? As an affiliate marketer myself, I was curious about this learning course.
Even affiliate experts learn new things every once in a while. So, what’s the harm in exploring a new learning course?
Driven by my eagerness to learn more and become a better master of affiliate marketing, I started to do my own study of Commission Hero.
Its name gives off a strong impression. A hero is someone we can count on and will save us in our time of need!
To find out more about this hero, let me give you an in depth Commission Hero review about the product.
What Is Commission Hero?
Commission Hero is a learning course offered by Robby Blanchard.
It is stated in the product’s site that their goal is to help people get out of their tiring jobs and help them gain freedom by teaching them how to do affiliate marketing.
Commission Hero promises that you can make at least $1,000 per day within “the next 30 days” after taking their course successfully.
At some point, it even claims to help you earn $3,000 to $75,000 a week according to some Commission Hero students!
“Earn $1,000 with Commission Hero even while you’re just sitting at home and generate money while you sleep” – the product promotes itself using those conditions.
As I learned more about this Commission Hero, I continued to have doubts.
In my head, I thought, “This is too good to be true!”
However, you would be enticed – you would be curious. Questions would pop in your head one after another.
What Is Commission Hero? Is Commission Hero a scam? If not, then is Commission Hero worth it?
Is Commission Hero Worth It?

Product Name: Commission Hero
Founders: Robby Blanchard
Rating: 40 out of 100
Best For: Anyone who wants to learn how to make money using affiliate marketing through Facebook Ads
Recommended: Not recommended
Conclusion: Commission Hero is a legitimate product but is not reliable enough to give you guaranteed results.
It promises a lot, but there is no certainty that you’ll reach those expectations.
Despite the 12 Month Success Policy, it is still too expensive, and risky to waste time on an unstable marketing scheme.
What Is Commission Hero About?
So, what Is Commission Hero all about? Commission Hero is an online affiliate marketing course and the course sets high expectations for interested students.

However, there are steps you must take in order to properly explore how this business works.
Commission Hero promises to teach you how to utilize affiliate marketing to the fullest in a way that can help you grow your bank account “fast”.
Through commissions, you get paid and earn even while you’re away from your computer.
According to Commission Hero, all you need to do is get everything set up and that’s something they will show you how to do.
After all, this learning course is created by the number one Clickbank affiliate and you are learning his way of how to become successful through affiliate marketing too.
It is possible that the idea of “Commission Hero” comes from the fact that a top one is sharing you his secrets.
“Become the hero that will teach your students how to make a lot of money through ad commissions”
How Does Commission Hero Work?
As the product claims, it is a “simple” system to follow.
Commission Hero is a Clickbank affiliate and thus, it promotes Clickbank products.
By promoting Clickbank affiliate products, they earn commission money if their obtained leads are converted into sales.
What Commission Hero teaches is how to find the best products you can promote, and how to endorse it in a way that will definitely get clicks and buyers.
While it does not always have to be Clickbank products, you’ll most likely end up focusing on Clickbank products.
As simple as it seems, this affiliate marketing strategy also have its ups and downs.
It also have its limitations and several factors that may affect it therefore, you cannot guarantee someone to earn $1,000 per day.
To simplify the learning course, it summarizes everything into 3 simple steps.
- Find a good product offer and promote it
- Create your landing page (Or use ClickFunnels)
- Set up the ads on your Facebook Ad account
The course teaches you how to professionally choose the right offers and how to make excellent landing pages that leads can’t resist.
For the last step, you just need to use Facebook Ads and start promoting your product.
Since it is Facebook, you need to pay for advertising.
You see, bringing in leads means you need to build traffic.
You can get organic traffic that is free, or you’ll need to keep forking out for paid traffic – that is advertisements like Facebook Ads.
This is an essential part to Commission Hero’s “key to success” and earning $1,000 per day.
Founders of Commission Hero
What is Commission Hero? This question still bugs me – so I wanted to know more about the mind behind this learning course.
Such big promises should be given by someone who can fulfill them – and Robby Blanchard seem to have a good background for himself that we can learn about.
Learning about the founder, or founders, helps us give an insight on what a product’s real goal is.
What does the person who created this course, have in mind when they created it?
Let’s take a quick look into Robby Blanchard’s words about his Commission Hero.
Robby Blanchard
Robby Blanchard claims to be the “Number One Clickbank Affiliate” who made $1,000 per day.
On Commission Hero’s official website, he states that he wishes to help others become successful like him by creating and sharing Commission Hero.
Robby is from Massachusetts and studied exercise science for college. As he graduated, he opened up his Fitness and Wellness gym called, “Cross Fit Reach”.
Despite his passion for fitness, Robby eventually saw and realized that making a place for his customers isn’t enough.
People no longer come to gyms just because “it’s there”, he needs to MAKE them come or make his business known.
Thus, Robby started promoting his business through Facebook ads – and that’s where he saw, it works.
Here’s Robby’s words on his Commission Hero website:
When I say you don’t need to have experience to be successful with this it’s true…
— Robby Blanchard, on his Commission Hero website
in fact, I don’t even have a background in marketing at all.
I started as just a personal trainer with an Exercise Science degree!
Back in 2014 my CrossFit Gym was struggling and there were times when I literally had to choose between a good meal and paying my bills. It was so embarrassing!
It was then that I stumbled upon running ads for my gym and that’s why my gym turned around and went from struggling to over 300 members and a brand new 10,000 square foot facility.
Then in 2015 I decided to create my own online information product for CrossFitters.
I tried to have affiliates email and promote it…nobody would.
I tried to create an email list myself…it took forever and didn’t work.
That’s why I started to run Facebook ads for my product…and things exploded!
As he discovered the efficiency of Facebook ads, he knew it would take him to a better life if he managed to make it work even better and so he did.
Now, Robby Blanchard shares his strategy to his Commission Hero students.
So, what is Commission Hero? Commission Hero is an idea by Robby Blanchard – teaching students a system to make money online with the right commitment.
Commission Hero Prices
What is Commission Hero and how much does it cost to afford this course?
There are two ways to pay for this course and enroll yourself as a student.
You can pay once for $997.00 or get a two-time payment of $597.00, you get billed every 30 days which means you have a month to pay for the next bill.
The two-time payment will cost you more ($1,194) in the long run.
If you are unsure but still want to give it a try, my advice is avail the two-time payment and see for yourself if it is worth proceeding with this course.
However, if you go with this option, you should find the signs for yourself right away and don’t let it drag it close to your next billing date.
NOTE: Commission Hero instructs you to rely on using Facebook Advertising services to get sales for your products.
This means YOU will pay for Facebook Ads to make this work. Depending on your ad, the prices may vary.
According to Commission Hero’s FAQ section, a minimum range of $10 – $20 extra is needed on a daily basis to make your ads run.
Additional Expenses
On top of paid Facebook advertisements, you are also offered to buy and use Clickbank products such as ClickFunnels, ClickMagick, Aweber, and Fiverr.
ClickFunnels ($97 a month)
ClickMagick ($27 a month)
Aweber ($29 a month)
Fiverr (Lowest $5 per design)
TOTAL = $158+ additional monthly expenses
You are NOT required to purchase those tools, and you CAN get cheaper alternatives. However, Commission Hero insists that those are the best tools you can get for higher success rates.
As soon as you enroll, you also get offered to subscribe to “Inner Circle”, another program within Commission Hero.
It is actually a membership program with extra privileges which costs you $297 a month.
That’s a TOTAL of $455+ additional expenses. (Excluding potential extra charges for running Facebook ads)
It is up to you whether you want to buy these extra offers, but for real, it can be overwhelming AND suspicious at the same time.
What is Commission Hero exactly? Is it really trying to help or just trying to drain money out of your wallets? Think carefully before you buy those tools and the high fixed costs of running this business model attempting to get sales from Facebook.
Commission Hero Refund Policy
Is Commission Hero a Scam? Is Commission Hero worth your money? What happens if you decide to buy this course, but regret it later on?
According to the site itself, there are two ways you can get a refund. First, you can get a refund within 14 days. But here’s the questionable part of their refund policy.
You can only request for a refund within the first 14 days of purchase IF you did not access any of their training lessons.
This can make you raise a brow, how would you know if you want “out” of the training if you couldn’t give it a try to begin with?
Logically, this might be a way to prevent people from “sneaking a peek” inside their training lessons, but at the same time, it raises the questions:
“What Is Commission Hero and Is Commission Hero A Scam?”
The second refund option is their “12 Month Success Policy”. This policy guarantees money back for you within 12 months.
It tells you that you should give them one year to see if their lessons will come into fruition for you or not. If you do not get results within 12 months, then you can get a full refund.
They stated that the reason they do this is because they are looking for serious affiliates who are into long-term business, because that’s how you can be successful with affiliate marketing.
It needs time and patience – but this contradicts Commission Hero’s promises of making fast progress in just 30 days.
Knowing this policy, you have to think carefully whether Commission Hero is worth it or not. We’ll be talking more about that later on.
Can You Make Money With Commission Hero?
What Is Commission Hero, can you make money with this learning course? With Commission Hero itself, you can’t.
But with the strategy it teaches you, they claim that you should be able to make money easily.
Plenty of times they mentioned in their website that you can grow your bank account fast and you should join them right away to start your path on making $1,000 a day.
Those are big expectations and promises – but is it true? Can you really make money with what Commission Hero teaches you?
From what I looked up, it appears to be working. So yes, you CAN make money with Commission Hero.
There are a lot of testimonials from Commission Hero students – whether those are legitimate statements or feedback or not, we cannot know for sure.
Without a doubt, the founder is the number one Clickbank affiliate. But being a successful person yourself doesn’t mean you can make others successful too.
Affiliate marketing can surely help you earn money – but to set the expectations of earning $1,000 a day is a bit sketchy or far fetched.
Even if you share your knowledge the best way possible, the earnings still depend on the students’ themselves.
After all, they are going to be the ones to take action for their own business plans.
So if I want to make money with Commission Hero, I still need to rely on my own to make what I learned work.
How To Make Money With Commission Hero?
We know we can make money with Commission Hero, but how exactly? What is Commission Hero and how do you use it to make money online?
It has already been explained above, that it uses affiliate marketing to generate income online.
You need to find a good product offer, promote it using Facebook ads, wait for people to click on your link and buy the product.
You get paid for every commission you make – now that can truly be a lot and help you earn money even while you’re busy doing something else.
But let’s be honest, as a consumer yourself, how often have you been enticed by ads on the side of your screen?
Usually, we tend to ignore those ads or some even feel too irritated and want them out of their sight.
So, just how successful can you be with this money making strategy taught by Commission Hero?
For tips, you need to be wise with the product you’re promoting. There are many good offers, but not all will generate leads.
You also need to make your landing pages compelling enough to make leads want to buy. This way, you will have a smooth flow of income, as Commission Hero promises.
Is Commission Hero Worth Your Time?
After asking myself, “What Is Commission Hero” and how much it would cost, I wondered if it would be worth anyone’s time. I know for myself, especially with the high monthly costs and huge risks, it’s not worth MY time, but what about yours?
Here are a few things to think about to decide whether Commission Hero is worth your time or not.
While the process seems easy, don’t forget that Commission Hero needs you to use Facebook Ads.
At minimum, you need to cash out $10 – $20 PER DAY to keep your ads running daily. While this might seem like small investments, what happens if it doesn’t work?
You cannot get a refund from Facebook and you cannot get a refund from Commission Hero once you access their lessons.
In fact, $10 – $20 per day is a small amount and you might actually need more than that to earn big returns.
According to Clickbank payment policies, you need to wait for weeks before you receive the money on your bank.
This means, during that time frame of waiting, you need to keep cashing out for ads only to receive a small extra.
How much do you really “make” if you can make $1,000 a day in sales?
Let’s say you do make sales of $1,000 a day, but that would mean you’d need to spend at least $600 for ads to make it happen. In total, your only profit would be $400 at best. Then you also have your monthly costs of $158+ for the tools and then there’s the $297/month inner circle upsell.
Not really $1,000 a day huh? Now, is Commission Hero Worth It? Even on the 30-50% profit margin some Commission Hero students claim, with all the other costs you could be losing money?
Facebook Banning
Since it has come down to this, let me mention what I also found out about this product.
According to some reports from Commission Hero students, the increasing number of Advertisement Accounts getting banned is becoming alarming.
Plenty of Commission Hero users got their Facebook accounts banned and lost their entire income.
This is a new action done by Facebook in order to avoid scams, bots, fake accounts, spam, and other negative things.
Though some made an appeal, Facebook often denied it, resulting in major losses for some.
Is Commission Hero A Scam?
Whenever an offer seems too good to be true, we tend to wonder to ourselves if the offer is legitimate or a scam. What Is Commission Hero? Is Commission Hero A Scam? NO, it isn’t.
As much as you doubt it, it is NOT a scam and it is an actual learning course that you can access online as soon as you pay for it.
There are real people behind this course, and real people helping you actually learn something. However, the promises and expectations are too high and heavy.
Claiming that you do not need experience and don’t need to spend a lot to get started in earning $1,000 a day does seem hard to believe. It is quite sketchy to say “make $1,000” a day because as I have broken this down above in the section on How much do you really “make” if you can make $1,000 a day in sales?
While it is NOT a scam, the results of this learning course still depend on the students. Think of it this way, the “make $1,000” a day if read on its own can be quite misleading, you need to factor in all the costs you have, risks and risks of facebook account shut downs. So I am just calling this legitimate but with a huge dose of “caveat emptor” (buyer beware!)
Enrolling to Commission Hero as a student is like buying a seed that you will plant on your own later on. You will be the only one to grow it and try to nurture it until your costs and efforts come into fruition.
Commission Hero is not the one that will make you rich, but Robby Blanchard’s strategy might work out for you the same way it worked out for him.
Well, to be completely transparent with you. I am not a Commission Hero student nor am I one of Clickbank Affiliates. Furthermore, I do not endorse Commission Hero or Commission Hero / Clickbank products in any way.
I have spent a good amount of time researching the website, reading testimonials, and studying information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what Commission Hero really does. This is because courses just like this have burned me in the past, and I want to keep others from going down the same path I did. You can learn more here in this article “How to Spot an Online Marketing Scam and Avoid Scams”.
Risk With Clickbank Products
Another reason why one would think Commission Hero is a scam is because of the fact that it is affiliated with Clickbank.
Clickbank is becoming notorious for fake products, illegal products, or just downright scams.
Due to this, the refund rate of Clickbank products are high. With this fraudulent record, it can be risky to promote Clickbank products just like how Commission Hero recommends.
Who’s to say that you can generate sales to begin with if the products are known to be scams or you won’t get paid at all if the product you promoted turns out to be a scam?
Before you select a product to promote, make sure yourself that it’s legitimate first.
This is going to be a struggle since you’ll mostly end up focusing on Clickbank products to make that money that Commission Hero promises.
Reasons To Try Commission Hero (Advantages)
What is Commission Hero good for? Is Commission Hero A Scam? If you’re still hesitating up until this point, here are a few things I liked about Commission Hero.
These points could be someone’s reasons to try commission hero.
- Flexible marketing strategy
- Reliable training lessons
- Private coaching sessions
- Done-For-You Landing Pages
- Exclusive group memberships
There is no doubt that Commission Hero offers a simple affiliate marketing strategy. On the surface, it can be simplified to three easy steps.
This strategy is flexible because it teaches you an affiliate marketing technique that you can use everywhere. It doesn’t have to be only Clickbank.
You can build your own niche and choose your own affiliate company once you master the strategy that Robby Blanchard teaches you through Commission Hero’s learning course.
Robby Blanchard is also a good trainer, as he instructs you carefully.
He’s legitimate and has earned a lot of experience on his own, when he also started by himself with zero experience in this field.
Robby is said to keep an eye out for his own mistakes because it teaches him a big lesson: One wrong step can cost you a lot in this “pay to play” affiliate marketing model that he teaches.
Due to this, he talks about his past mistakes and shares the solutions he used to deal with it and fixed his problems.
On top of that, it is stated on their website that they also offer private coaching sessions. So, if you have specific questions or struggles, you can easily clear that up during the coaching period.
They also offer “Done For You” landing pages which will make it easier for you to generate leads convertible to sales but that might also mean you’d need to spend money on ClickFunnels.
If you also like to see the progress and results of other Commission Hero users, you might find comfort in joining their private groups to discuss such things.
It can also become a community place to ask one another questions or share experiences about Commission Hero.
As a bonus, the site claimed to offer Snapchat training if you are interested in building your traffic through using Snapchat instead of Facebook advertisements.
Reasons To Avoid Commission Hero (Disadvantages)
Now, what is Commission Hero and why should you avoid it?
In my opinion, there are plenty of reasons to stay away from this product but it is still entirely up to you to decide.
I am simply offering you my honest thoughts on this product. So here are reasons why I would avoid Commission Hero.
- Too expensive compared to other learning courses
- Promises big, sets unrealistic expectations
- Demands larger investment in the upsell (inner circle) to earn bigger
- Risky products and potentially getting banned
- High ongoing monthly costs, you bear all the risks
- The return of investment takes long to appear
First of all, the pricing is truly expensive.
On top of that, you get offered tools and memberships throughout the lessons – that can burn anyone out. So with that and the daily Facebook ads costs you can really burn through your money.
While I like the fact that you get the “full package” offered right away and you don’t need to worry about trials, it can still be overwhelming.
Their biggest promises are about “making” $1,000 a day then start seeing results within 30 days, and tells you that you don’t really need experience.
While this may be true for some, it’s hardly the same case for everyone else. Again, I find it misleading to talk about sales you can make without the real costs for a complete understanding of exactly what people reading that sales page are getting themselves in for.
I’m not like Robby, and you aren’t like him too, we can’t all be like Robby – so who can guarantee that we earn as much as he does?
You’d end up disappointing yourself and regretting that you spent money on the course if you don’t get the promised results.
It also doesn’t directly tell you that you’ll need more than $10-$20 ongoing investments on ads to hit the $1,000 amount they consistently talk about.
Clickbank products also have a shady history that could get you in trouble eventually. If you promote a scam product and Clickbank is reported, they might not pay you in the end.
Being commission based, there is also no guarantee that you’ll make profit if no one ends up buying your products.
With that said, it also takes a loooong time before you see the money in your bank account. You could have also spent a LOT of money before your first sale.
It can drive you anxious, waiting for that money to show up while you keep splashing out on Facebook ads.
Final Thoughts On Commission Hero
What is Commission Hero? Is Commission Hero A Scam? If you’re still asking yourself those questions, let me tell you my final thoughts on Commission Hero.
Commission Hero is a legitimate course and offers a decent training course for its students.
However, I personally think there are more cheaper affiliate marketing courses you can afford.
Even though Robby is or was the number one Clickbank affiliate, his teachings aren’t all that you can rely on.
I know myself that there are plenty of other decent affiliate marketing courses to choose from that will also help you see positive results in the end.
Commission Hero’s big promises are also quite overwhelming. If you get no results, you would feel incredibly down, horrible and be a lot poorer!
His whole pitch, YouTube ads and sales page are a good way to entice people, but their strong words are not my taste.
I prefer to be given honest, fair expectations and full disclosure of costs than to have my expectations set so high and make me crash when I fail to reach them.
Overall, Commission Hero ITSELF is not a bad affiliate marketing course. It does teach you well but the problem lies in the risks and uncertainties, not Commission Hero itself.
For example, the risk of ad accounts getting banned, and products turning out to be scams can cause the lure of profit into an actual loss instead.
Since Commission Hero does not properly disclose this risk for others, it gives off an impression that they only care about delivering their teachings, but not what kind of results (net profit AFTER costs) their students might get in the end.
A Better Alternative To Master Affiliate Marketing And Make Money Online From Home!
If you’re uncertain with Commission Hero and its high costs model, let me offer you an alternative that you might find more suitable for your taste!
One of my favorite ways to make money online or from home is through affiliate marketing.
Just like what Commission Hero offers, I can personally teach you everything you need to know about affiliate marketing.
But unlike Commission Hero, you don’t need to be stuck promoting Clickbank products or the likes of it. Here’s why I recommend this alternative for you.
- You are free to promote anything you want – you can have your own business + It’s free to get started.
- You don’t need any inventory of products to sell, you simply promote other people products. You don’t have to fully rely on earning commissions.
- All you need is your computer with internet connection – so you have freedom to work from home or work from anywhere. No setting high expectations, this type of business grows in time.
- Your efforts are cumulative – as you put in consistent effort your traffic and income grows and you can continue to earn. No need to get paid traffic like Facebook ads. You can gain the skills and traffic from FREE traffic, for a much lower cost business model.
- Your earning potential is unlimited, many people make full-time incomes and you can also outsource and scale your online business
- Even complete beginners can do it with the right training – here’s what I recommend and I can personally mentor you to help you earn.
My advice is to invest your precious time into building your own real online business to give you income you can rely on longer term, rather than simply relying on promoting specific risky products, expensive ads, and tools that you need to pay for.
